Into the Whirlwind by Elizabeth Camden - Book Review

After reading Against the Tide, I could hardly wait for Elizabeth Camden's next book release. Her historical fluency, exciting, fast-paced plots, and approachable, yet three-dimensional heroes and heroines make her an author to follow.

Into the Whirlwind met my (high) expectations. Set in nineteenth century Chicago, we follow loveable Mollie Knox through her tumultuous journey after the Great Chicago Fire destroys her watch company.

It was so easy to get lost in this book. After the first few chapters, I was hooked, and couldn't stop reading. The story has enough twists to keep you engrossed, and it seemed as unpredictable as the Chicago fire.

I definitely recommend this book for anyone who likes historical fiction, with a little romance thrown in. Into the Whirlwind is a keeper. I'm looking forward to Camden's next novel!
