The Sweetest Bedtime Book

Okay, I think I made a good choice when I got this book. I figured I'd like the illustrations, based on the cover image... but I truly loved this book.

First off, the adorable illustrations continue past the cover. They are so soft and friendly; plus, the book is fairly large, so it's extra nice to have big, full pages of illustrations.

Readers follow a boy and his cute teddy bear through many different hugs all the way to bedtime - bear, horse, fish, and many other animals.

Rhyming verses trill through the story - for example, "I'm going to give you a sheep hug. A lamb's wool, blanket full, don't make a peep hug." I really liked all the sweet animals and playful rhyme.

This is a book children will want to read over and over again... and will want to participate in, too. Whether reading the words along or performing the different hugs, this book is really fun for kids.
I have the hardcover version, but it also comes in board book form. I can't wait to share this with the kids in my life and see how much they enjoy it.

Disclaimer: I received this book from the publisher in exchange for an honest review.
