Tried & True - A fun, lighthearted romp

The description alone was enough to reel me into this book: three sisters pretending to be men--except one (Kylie Wilde) who likes wearing skirts on the side--who are trying to work off the land to earn their settlements. You can only imagine what happens when a local land agent, the attractive, protective Aaron Masterson finds out her secret.

I was hoping for a hilarious, light-hearted story, and that's what I got. Through bungles, risky incidents, and growing love, Tried & True is a little on the wild side, but mostly fun. There are enough twists and turns to keep the story interesting, and good lessons in trust and growth--all centred on Christian values.

I enjoyed reading this book and, since this is the first one in the series, I will be excited to read Mary Connealy has up her sleeve next!
