Great Characters, Great Story!
I loved escaping into this story. Readers are plunged into the world of Beekeeper Beckett, managing the family apiary after her father's untimely death...and Callie, a little lost too as she tries to manage her financial situation. Unexpectedly, these two women's lives intertwine in ways they didn't imagine.
There was a lot to enjoy about this book. Somehow, it was refreshingly different from other books I've been into lately. There was deep character development (and great characters!), a believable weaving of spirituality, and an element of "the unknown" from the very beginning that keeps you engaged. Of course, I love having a good, heartwarming ending as well--and this book delivered.
I hadn't read anything by Amanda Cox before, but I'm interested in her other books now. They sound just as interesting as He Should Have Told the Bees, and I have a feeling I won't be disappointed!
