Great Resource for Tween and Teen Girls

Ever felt like your relationship with God is a bit... drifting? It's easy to fall into that kind of pattern, so I'm really thankful for books like this, that have enough readings to make spiritual growth a habit.

Shine Bright is a devotional with 60 days of readings to keep you connected to God. Each reading starts with a focus verse, two-or-so pages of reading, and ends with a "Ready to go deeper?" section. This section includes more in-depth scripture and some questions to get readers thinking about what they read and apply it to their lives.

I think this devotional makes a great resource particularly for tweens or teens. Kristen Clark and Bethany Beal write from a first-hand perspective and have very conversational tones in the readings. This makes it really personal, kind of like hearing from a trusted friend or youth leader. Visually, I also found the gold and green design really appealingplus, it's hardcover.

One thing I noticed was a lot of mentions of materials outside of the book. That could be a great thing if readers are interested into digging in a bit deeper, but I think it might have worked better in a blog format where you can click a link.
