An Exciting Journey

What a ride! This book AND this entire series! I'm filled with that bittersweet feeling of having thoroughly enjoyed a series but being a little sad it's over. 

Susan May Warren is an expert at crafting realistic characters in exciting scenarios. I loved this book and how it wrapped up this years' Global Search and Rescue series. (Also, how privileged are we to enjoy all the books in this series in one year?)

The Price of Valor focuses on former Navy SEAL Hamilton Jones and his mission to recover his one (since childhood) love, Signe Kincaid. Signe is on the run overseas and doesn't. trust. anyone. Including Ham. 

I could never dream up the scenarios they find themselves in; this is the kind of book you stay up all night reading just to find out what happens next. 

Susan May Warren deftly threads together her different novels; not in a way that has you feeling like you've missed something but that builds on characters you might have previously read about and enjoyed. I really appreciated seeing Jenny and Orion's relationship growing in this novel as well. 

You've got to read this book--and the entire series.
