Cold Shot - Keeping Readers on Their Toes
It's no secret. I love Dani Pettrey's books. So when I heard she was starting a brand new series, I hopped right on board. This read was definitely not a disappointment.
Here's the scoop. Griffin, a SWAT-team sniper turned park ranger stumbles across skeletal remains and an old cold case is reopened. Finley Scott, beautiful forensic anthropologist lends her expertise as well as several of Griffin's friends--Parker Mitchell and Declan Gray. As they uncover more leads in the case, the danger escalates, and they need to rely on eachother to not only survive, but find the killer.
Fast paced, thrilling, and romantic, Cold Shot keeps readers on their toes the whole time. Pettrey is great at building deep characters (with real Christian journeys), vivid settings, and compelling plots. I recommend for anyone looking for an exciting adventure story.
