Inspiring and touches the heart

This was a great read. In this book, Marian has created a toolkit for women of all paths to use and grow closer to their Saviour. What a wonderful ministry she is leading.

I like that Marian Jordan Ellis doesn't take her subject matter lightly. Her words are earnest, almost a passionate plea at times. I found it very motivating and moving at the same time. I love how it feels like an old friend is sharing a very personal story--it makes this book very real.

Though I may not yet struggle with much of what this book is about, I not feel better equipped for any hard times in the future and have a better understanding of the "why" and "how" to defeat temptation. I learned  a lot from this book that I didn't know I needed to learn. God certainly used this book to convict me and lead me back off a detour.

The questions at the end of the book make this the perfect book to base a women's Bible study on.

I am definitely going to have to check out this author's other books next. If they are anything like this one; they will be good.
