The Perfect Resource for Working Women

Ever felt like this? Overwhelmed. Frozen. Unfulfilled.

I've been slowly swirling into this state over the past few months, until I got to the point where I knew my priorities, but I had no idea how to fix it. I was just treading water.

So when I saw She Works His Way, a book to help working women not just balance work, home, and spiritual life, but rediscover what is important, it was an answer to prayer. I knew I was meant to read it as soon as I read the description. I really believe God sent me She Works His Way to help me refocus.

Part practical advice and partly a conversation with someone who truly gets it, this book first acknowledges the issues at hand, and then offers gentle and practical advice to figure out what matters most. Authors Michelle Myers and Somer Phoebus share the narrative and their experiences throughout the chapters.

A few things that make this book different are:

  • Diagrams and callouts sprinkled throughout the chapters - for a visual person like me, these created some real lightbulb moments!
  • A prayer at the end of each chapter - this is what sparks real change. I felt like I was nodding "yes" to entire chapters and wanted to enact something new in my life and these prayers encouraged just that!

I know many of us are feeling like our lives are spiraling - our culture's priorities and God's priorities don't always align. And this book will offer honest - and sometimes challenging - direction, that can truly help you out of the cycle of overwhelm. For anyone who's felt overwhelmed with juggling all of life's priorities, pick up this book.
