Interactive, Bible-based, and Inspirational

A few themes have come up repeatedly in my life this year:
  • Learning who Jesus was
  • The idea of multiplying (as in making disciples)
I was immediately drawn to this series because I am always interested in new Bible studies and because, honestly, I liked the look and idea of these. (Why wouldn't you want to Walk Like Jesus?)

If you pick this up, you're going to get a life-changing study. 10 weeks long; with 5 days of study, this book is sure to deepen your relationship with God and help you minister to others.

The first 6 weeks of Walk Like Jesus center on who Jesus was and what His life was like (weekly topics like "Jesus and the Holy Spirit" and "Praying as Jesus Prayed"). Weeks 7-10 dive into what we do about it ("Exalting the Father," "Investing in a Few").

I loved a lot of things about this book.

First, the daily studies are a feasible length. Sometimes I have trouble focusing if the study requires an hour of my time. These can take up to an hour if you desire, but 15 minutes can also be ample. This makes me more likely to do this entire study.

Next, there are a ton of Bible references. Prepare to dive deep into your Bible and go back and forth between passages, deepening your understanding all the while. It's always a good sign when you are pointed to the Word for truth.

Finally, this book comes with some extras that will further the impact the book has on your life. To build your experience, this Like Jesus series includes a free "Like Jesus" app that includes videos, graphics other extras to enrich your ministry. Besides that, there is lots of room to write in the paperback book, with poignant call-outs in the margins.

In all, this is definitely a book I'm glad I picked up. It's interactive, Bible-based, and will ignite your desire to minister to others.

Disclaimer: I received this book from the publisher in exchange for an honest review.
