The Perfect Introduction to Prayer and Devotions

Say & Pray Devotions is one cute book. It features about 20 different devotions for children, whether they are just starting to read or simply like looking at illustrations. Each devotion has a topic (like "Yummy," "Zoo Day," and "Joyful Noise"--all applicable and understandable for young children) and a verse with a short prayer for the child to say aloud. The illustrations are cute and soft and most objects (bed, rug, block, Mother, etc.) have a balloon word beside them.

I liked the devotions for their simplicity and adorable nature. I think kids will love flipping through the thick board pages. The book itself is small and very thick, which makes it easy for children's hands to hold; and the board cover is made to withstand dropping and plenty of use.

This devotional is a great tool for children who are learning to read but also for children who are just learning to pray and read the Bible. I am excited to share it with the children in my life!
