Girl Talk - Beautiful Uncertainty

I have decided that I want to be friends with Mandy Hale. I've spent so many evenings and quiet moments reading her books; "The Single Woman" and now "Beautiful Uncertainty." I found her first book on my bed, given to me from a kind friend, and I will definitely do the same with this book.

"Beautiful Uncertainty" is divided into four parts; Winter, Spring, Summer, and Fall. It's a bit of a breakdown of Mandy's year of uncertainty and her journey with God--all the anecdotes along the way. Each chapter has a short subject and ends with a prayer or thoughtful exercise (including lines for notes!).

She writes in a very conversational style; it feels like you are having a good conversation with a sister who has been there and gets it. It's an easy read, but some of the subject matter and truths can be hard to swallow. I like that this is a very interactive book that you need to prayerfully read through.

I would recommend giving this book a read if you can identify with the subject--it's enlightening but also simply nice to remember that you're not the only one out there.

Disclaimer: I received this book from the publisher in exchange for an honest review.
