Prepare for your Christmas Reading with this Book

Even though the snow isn't falling for me quiiite yet, I did enjoy diving into the story of Christmas just for a moment. This book, The Christmas Story for Children, is a new staple book to add to your Christmas reading list.

Written by Max Lucado, Randy Frazee, and Karen Davis Hill, the classic story of Jesus' birth is given a fresh angle--especially with Fausto Bianchi's beautiful illustrations. This version begins with Mary's exciting news from Angel Gabriel and ends with Jesus' baptism.

Besides the beautiful story (it's hard to "do" the Christmas story wrong, in my opinion), I absolutely loved the illustrations. They are soft and familiar but also have a lot of detail and interesting elements. I have looked through this book a few times and see something new each time.

I will definitely have this one out on the coffee table in December--and every December after!
