Itsy Bitsy Christmas: Sweet, Cute, AND Meaningful

So, this is the cutest Christmas board book of all time. Itsy Bitsy Christmas: You're Never Too Little for His Love follows two sweet mice and their search for the King.

Being tiny mice, other animals think Itsy and Bitsy are foolish for thinking that the King would want to see them. They journey through streets and the market to no avail and much discouragement. Finally, they find that their home is the stable where baby Jesus is--and that they are special in his eyes.

I really enjoyed this book. Merz's illustrations are almost touchably soft and friendly and Max Lucado can do no wrong with his writing. This will quickly become a loved Christmas classic.

The book itself is a board book, but there is more text in the story than I originally expected (a good thing!). The story actually goes in depth and isn't a simple sentence on each page, though the book is built for kid fingers.
