Just Sayin' Book Review - So Much Fun!

Do you have a tween girl? Get her "Just Sayin'" by Carol McAdams Moore. Together with "Dare U 2 Open This Book" (boy version), McAdams Moore has a smash hit on her hands.

This book is full of fun, creativity, and, most importantly, devotions. "Just Sayin'" is written as a 90-day devotional study, complete with writing and praying prompts; space to doodle, colour, and scribble; and Bible verses and prayers.

Here's one example: day 22 focuses on Ephesians 1:7-8, which says "In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God's grace that he lavished on us." The rest of the devotional builds on this grace and forgiveness, asking the reader to think of the best gift they ever got (and glue in the wrapping paper) and glue or draw a picture of themselves in a mirror, reflecting on how God "lavishes grace on you." It's well done, and relays Bible verses in a way that girls can not only understand, but apply to their lives.

The only thing I wish was different about this book was that the pages were in color. If only they were glossy and had lots of bright colors, it would be even better.

Even so, I highly recommend this book for a little girl in your life--she will love it.
