Notes From the Tilt-A-Whirl - Illuminating and Artful

Notes From the Tilt-A-Whirl is simply beautiful. I dove in to it, not sure what to expect--and perhaps I was right; this is not a typical book.

N.D. Wilson loosely frames this book around the four seasons, aligning them with the seasons of life. I'm not even sure how to describe the chapters--they are one part Christian apologetics, one part essay, and one part poetry.

When I first started reading, I couldn't help but think that N.D. Wilson's words were pure art. As I continued, I realized it is holy art. N.D. Wilson was able to enlighten me on so many aspects of my faith with thoughtful written word.

So many lines in this book needed to be highlighted or copied down--so many lines were full of truth and illuminating in a way I'd never seen things before. This is a book to take your time on and drink in. It is a book to savour and let inspire you.

I will not only be treasuring this book; I will be sharing it with many others.
